Home Héctor Manuel Perea Enríquez, Ph.D. Narrator, journalist and essayist, he has a degree in Journalism and Collective Communication from UNAM and a PhD in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid. He also studied screenwriting at the Cinematographic Training Center. Artistic Creator of the National System of Art Creators, since 2003. He was part of the National System of Researchers. He has been a fellow of the Mexican Writers Center, the National Institute of Fine Arts, the National Council of Science and Technology, the DGAPA, the Institute of Ibero-American Cooperation of Spain and various programs of the Ministry of Culture. Author of more than 30 books, he has obtained the national prizes "Rosario Castellanos of Cultural Journalism" (1989) and "José Revueltas de Ensayo Literario" (1994). Since 1999 he is an honorary member of the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society Sigma Delta Pi, Chapter Epsilon Mu, by the University of Louisville, Kentucky. In 2011 he won the Chair of Culture of Mexico from Brown University and FONCA and in 2012 he joined as an external member of the Seminar Amérique Latin-Center de Recherches Interdisciplinaires sur les Mondes Ibérique Contemporains of the University of Paris-Sorbonne. He has been a visiting professor at the universities of Roma-La Sapienza, Salamanca, Complutense de Madrid and at the headquarters of the Instituto Cervantes de Sao Paolo. Visiting researcher at the universities of Roma-La Sapienza, Complutense de Madrid and at the headquarters of the Cervantes Institute in Paris. And invited lecturer in the universities of Buenos Aires, Liverpool, Complutense of Madrid, Brown and Paris-Sorbonne, as well as in the headquarters of the Cervantes Institute in Rome, London, Paris, Chicago and Albuquerque. He is currently a full-time C full-time researcher at the Center for Literary Studies -of which he was coordinator- of the IIFL and professor of the Postgraduate Degree in Letters of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM.
