Law Degree from the Faculty of Law in Mexico City, UNAM; Masters in Political Institutions and Doctorate in Political Science from the University of Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne). First prize Manuel Gómez Morín for his LLM degree essay (1997), and awarded with the Medal of the French Senate for his doctoral dissertation, received in Paris (2006).
Current Full-time researcher at the Institute of Legal Research of the UNAM, advisor at the Supreme Court of Mexico,
collaborating to Justice Juan Silva; Associated Dean of the international programme The Rule of Law in the XXIst Century, organized in Mexico in cooperation with the Heidelberg Center for Latin America.
